Our Services
Assessments & Diagnosis
“Through assessments, we gain insight into how our brains work and why our experiences feel the way they do. This understanding allows us to access the right supports, deepen self-awareness, and grow compassion for ourselves and others.”
Clinical Interview
During the clinical interview, our Psychologist will collect background information, history and any concerns. This information will allow our Psychologist to determine which assessment is required and will provide you with opportunities to ask any questions.
The Assessment
Through functional capacity and comprehensive assessments, we can assess the following:
Cognitive / Intellectual functioning (e.g. IQ testing, learning potential)
Neurodevelopmental functioning (e.g. ASD, ADHD, global developmental delays)
Learning difficulties (e.g. dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia)
Memory and executive functioning (e.g. planning, working memory, problem-solving)
Behavioural and emotional functioning (e.g. anxiety, depression, regulation difficulties)
Adaptive functioning (e.g. daily living skills, independence, social skills)
Trauma and attachment-related presentations
Sensory profiles
Ongoing Support
Following the assessment, we work collaboratively with families to co-create a support plan that feels meaningful, practical, and empowering. While receiving a diagnosis can sometimes feel overwhelming, it can also provide clarity, language, and validation—helping individuals and families to better understand their experiences and begin a supportive path forward.
